so this happened tonight.
i saw “the submission” which was awesomely good. afterwards, my friend and i waited for jgroff to emerge. which he did, looking adorable as ever. he signed my playbill and i talked about fainting goats with him. all the while shaking like a leaf.
so i ask him to take a photo with me and he graciously says yes. first photo turned out completely dark. second photo, i looked like a turd but i was satisfied. my friend and i walked to a nearby restaurant, sat down, ordered drinks and while i was looking at the picture, i hit delete instead of share. I WANTED TO CRY.
i ran back to the theater without question and he was still standing outside with significantly less people. so i sheepishly went over to him and one of his friends asked if i wanted a photo taken with him. jgroff turned to me and asked what happened. what a sweetie. i told him that i deleted the photo and he said it was no problem at all and he would take another one. which came out so much better.
overall, so sweet. so humble. so welcoming. great night!
Ok done freaking out. I’m not. But I’ll pretend I am.
If this is all he does in his appearance, I’ll be satisfied. Sigh…
